BP hopes to turn page with new CEO, leaner company

The company announced that Hayward, BP's much-criticized CEO  will be replaced by American Robert Dudley on Oct. 1, as it reported a record quarterly loss and set aside $32.2 billion to cover costs of the devastating Gulf of Mexico oil spill. Oil pipeline leak pollutes major Michigan river

BP Plc moved ships and workers back to the Gulf of Mexico oil spill site as a storm eased on Saturday, and it could begin pumping mud into the blown-out well to try to plug the leak within three days.
